Supplier of gold metallized parts for the luxury industry, our Italian client is an expert in the highest quality requirements. Metallization or varnishing of parts makes it possible to offer finishes and surface conditions resembling metal

The parts are removed from the surface treatment bath supports and inspected by quality controllers.
Even with qualified operators, visual defects slip through, risking significant financial impact if not quickly detected. In addition, the gray area of acceptable limit parts is complex to formalize, whichmakes over-quality frequent (acceptable parts thrown away).
A robust solution for inspecting complex parts was needed that could be tested at an offline inspection station and then integrated into a sorting machine.
