Scortex team

The genesis of the idea of Scortex was conceived when the founding team, after working for several years on AI, realized that the manufacturing industry, despite all the improvements brought by automation, still did not have an elegant solution for the quality control process. Taking this as a signal and during their research, they decided to focus on building a scalable, programmable, and automated solution for complex inspections in the industrial field.

Today, we are proud to announce that our initial vision has been endorsed by a group of recognized industry investors in the form of a fundraising of 1.8 million euros. This fund will fuel our initial scaling efforts, and we will also have the opportunity to benefit from the advice of a group of people who view the industrial landscape from a different angle. The funding was led by: Notion, Alven.

The proceeds from this fundraising will be used to:

  1. Grow the team

  2. Invest further in R&D

  3. More time to develop our quality control solution

  4. Acquire more robust hardware for better system performance.

We are also excited to announce that Scortex has moved into new offices. We look forward to making this space our own and believe it aligns well with our anticipated growth in the coming months.

We thank the investors, Notion and Alven Capital, for their trust and partnership, and we look forward to building a better and stronger Scortex with them!

Over the last few years, Scortex has been selected by several structuring programs, notably for the Agoranov incubator and the Microsoft ScaleUp program in Berlin. The company has also been distinguished in innovation competitions, such as the iLab competition, the LVMH Innovation Awards, SAP.IO Foundry Paris, and the grand prize at the automotive startup competition. These various recognitions have played an important role in developing our technological and industrial credibility.

We have also participated in key events that have consolidated our expertise in the field of industrial vision. Our participation in events such as the EMVA Business Conference (European Machine Vision Association) in 2021 and the 2018 Mondial Tech Paris Motor Show has helped reinforce our credibility with industry players.

Finally, Scortex is also consolidating its position in innovative European projects by being the technological partner of the consortium created for [COGNITWIN] (Cognitive Digital Twin), demonstrating our commitment to advanced digitalization in the industry.

To better understand how our quality control technology works, you can consult our customer testimonial from Olaf Zahra, Technical Director and Sustainability at Toly, which concretely illustrates the impact of our platform on a real industrial process.
