SCORTEX SOLUTION’S TERMS OF USE

The solution (as described below) is provided by SCORTEX, a French “société par actions simplifiée” with a share capital of € 9 338,40, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 850 535 102, whose registered office is located at 48, quai Alphonse Le Gallo 92100 Boulogne Billancourt and represented by its President M. Aymeric Du Breil De Pontbriand (hereinafter “SCORTEX”, “We” or “Us”).

ARTICLE 1. WHAT IS THE SCORTEX SOLUTION?

The SCORTEX solution is an artificial intelligence quality control solution based on an algorithm developed and commercialized by SCORTEX (hereafter the “Solution”). Constructed on visual inspection, the Solution aims to enable its user (hereinafter the “User” or “You”) to automate the quality control of its production lines with a customized, tailor-made, quality control solution. Quality control of any machine parts requires specialized knowledge and cutting-edge technology. While visual inspection is one of the most widely used for surface defects inspection, human speed and weariness are often limiting factors in achieving the target cycle times.

SCORTEX believes that artificial intelligence is the future of quality control system. Using cameras installed in your facilities, the Solution enables defect detection and analysis which can be integrated in real-time with your manufacturing processes to establish root cause fault diagnosis and reduce defect rates overall. Because the Solution is self-learning, it becomes more and more effective the longer You use it and can adapt to changing circumstances.

ARTICLE 2. HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Solution is composed of two key elements: (i) an application made of software’s and developments accessible via the online platform (or via a box installed within your premises) developed, edited and hosted by SCORTEX and, (ii) equipment made of all the hardware permitting the application to run on (cameras, switches, computers, servers, monitors, routers, etc.).

However, to ensure the highest level of quality service, the Solution is not a one-size-fits-all solution.

An active collaboration and the communication of several documents from your part are crucial for SCORTEX to tailor the composition of the equipment as well as the parameters of the Solution to your specific needs.

Following the installation of the Solution in your premises, SCORTEX will need, at least during the testing period, to make some adjustments in order to perfectly meet your requirements and environment.

ARTICLE 3. HOW TO USE THE SOLUTION?

Before using the Solution, You will have to enter into an agreement with SCORTEX in which We will grant You a license to use the Solution according to your specific needs. Some visual components of WP Google Maps use 3rd party libraries which are loaded over the network. At present the libraries are Google Maps, Open Street Map, jQuery DataTables and FontAwesome. When loading resources over a network, the 3rd party server will receive your IP address and User Agent string amongst other details. Please refer to the Privacy Policy of the respective libraries for details on how they use data and the process to exercise your rights under the GDPR regulations.

WP Google Maps uses jQuery DataTables to display sortable, searchable tables, such as that seen in the Advanced Marker Listing and on the Map Edit Page. jQuery DataTables in certain circumstances uses a cookie to save and later recall the “state” of a given table – that is, the search term, sort column and order and current page. This data is held in local storage and retained until this is cleared manually. No libraries used by WP Google Maps transmit this information.
